Is Jeter's return helping or hurting?

Yankees lose two in a row with Jeter 1 for 4. The Red Sox are right behind, I'm not liking that.

Jeter has only been back 1 game.. I'm gonna say it's a little too soon to say. You rather have Almonte playing short with 9 errors ?

I know, but do you think it's going to take a long time for him to get back into it? Tonight's game should be good, I hope he does alright. David Wells with 5 wins & no losses, Kevin Appier with 2 wins & 2 losses. I think Jeter will make a quick comeback off of Appier.

either way the line up is stronger, even if he bats .250 for a couple of weeks. When Nick Johnson is your 9 hitter.. you are doin OK

Give Jeter 4 or 5 games to get back in groove and he'll be good as new. After that, I'll need monstrous odds to fade Yanks.

Yankees were more productive with Johnsoon in the 2 hole. Pitching is the name of the game not hitting so jeter would not be missed at all in the long run.

If what you say is true - David Wells with 5 wins & no losses, Kevin Appier with 2 wins & 2 losses. So, this should be a clenched win for Yankees?
